The Galaxy Tab S8 will be available in three different models: the standard Tab S8, the Tab S8+, and the Tab S8 Ultra. The Ultra variant is expected to come with a big 14.6-inch screen and a massive 11,500 mAh battery, according to tipster Ice Universe, who also stated that the screen resolution will be 29601848 pixels.
That translates to a pixel density of roughly 240 PPI, which isn't far behind the Tab S7(266 +'s PPI 12.4-inch display with a resolution of 28001752 pixels) and should provide a sufficiently sharp viewing experience. Oh, and the Tab S8 Ultra, like the Tab S8+, will have an OLED display, although the Tab S8 is believed to have a TFT display. Naturally, all versions are expected to have a 120Hz refresh rate.
Samsung is also said to be working on a new ultrathin display bezel technology called BRS (Border Reduction Structure) for the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, however it's unclear how much of a bezel reduction it would achieve. On a tablet, ultra-thin bezels don't make as much sense as they do on phones, but for a tablet with a 14.6-inch display, reduced bezels would be a decent idea.
