Elon Musk reduced DOGE COIN fees to purchase it cheaper

Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, has stated that Dogecoin costs should be cut to make purchases such as theatre tickets more affordable.

Musk, a Dogecoin supporter, is the most well-known crusader of the joke cryptocurrency, and his tweets are believed to add to the coin's price volatility.

“Robinhood releasing wallets, AMC CEO not only talking about taking Dogecoin but saying it was the single most interacted with a tweet he has ever posted, the crypto market finally seeing some green,” Shibetoshi Nakamoto, the co-creator of Dogecoin, stated. "I've got to say..."

“It's critical for Doge fees to fall in order for things like buying cinema tickets to be viable,” Musk responded.

By the end of 2021, American movie theatre chain AMC Entertainment Holding will accept ether, bitcoin cash, and litecoin in addition to bitcoin for ticket purchases.

Following the announcement, AMC CEO Adam Aron inquired on Twitter if Dogecoin should be added to the list of online payment options. According to the research, 68 percent of voters support Dogecoin as a payment method, while 16 percent oppose it. “Yes, but I won't utilise it” and “No, Not that important” received the remaining 9% and 7% of votes, respectively.

I never imagined I'd live to see this day. My Dogecoin Twitter Poll was liked by @ElonMusk. Congratulations on Tesla and SpaceX, Mr. Musk, if you happen to see this tweet. I've worked hard my entire career to be an inventor, but you, sir, are the epitome of invention above all others,” Aron tweeted with a screenshot of the vote results.

Aron was so taken aback by the poll's results that he declared it to be his "highest ever read tweet," with 4.2 million views in only 24 hours. “My most recent retweets and responses. “There were 140,000 ballots cast, with 77% saying yes and 23% saying no,” he said.

He also stated that AMC is working on figuring out how to take Dogecoin.

Musk also revealed that SpaceX will launch the "DOGE-1 Mission to the Moon" in the first quarter of 2022, with the meme-inspired cryptocurrency Dogecoin being accepted as payment.
